Entry Alert ADA Compliance Kit with Alarm Clock and Pressure Mat
Enhance safety, awareness, and accessibility across housing units, assisted living environments, memory care programs, and community facilities with a wireless monitoring system designed for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or unable to rely on standard auditory cues. This configuration supports ADA-aligned accessibility by providing visual, audible, and tactile alerts for a wide range of movement-based events.
This package includes the Contact Mat, Telephone Transmitter, Alarm Clock Receiver, and Bed Shaker. All components are factory prelinked, requiring no Wi-Fi, apps, or manual pairing—making installation simple for multi-unit housing, care facilities, or home environments.
The Contact Mat detects pressure when someone steps on it and can support two primary use cases. It can alert caregivers or staff when a resident exits a bed or room, helping reduce wandering risks or nighttime safety concerns. It can also alert an individual who is deaf or hard of hearing when a visitor, aide, or family member enters the room. The mat connects directly to the Telephone Transmitter and can be placed at doorways, hallways, or bedside locations depending on the application.
The Telephone Transmitter relays the activation signal wirelessly to the Alarm Clock Receiver. It also includes input ports for additional accessories such as magnetic switches, extra mats, or compatible alert devices using 3.5 mm or 2.5 mm trigger cables—offering flexibility for facilities with evolving monitoring needs.
The Alarm Clock Receiver provides multi-sensory notifications through bright flashes, loud audible alerts, and strong vibrations from the included Bed Shaker. Color-coded indicators make it easy for staff or residents to identify which device triggered the alert. The Bed Shaker ensures reliable nighttime or low-visibility notification for individuals who cannot rely on sound.
This configuration is well suited for ADA accommodations, resident monitoring, hotel accessibility programs, and community safety initiatives where dependable movement awareness is needed.
The system can operate on its own or expand within the scalable Bellman Alerting System. Additional transmitters—including door, phone, smoke, and CO detectors—can be added without any reconfiguration.
