The Magnetic Switch triggers when two connected surfaces separate, such as when a door, window, drawer, or cabinet is opened. It plugs directly into the Telephone Transmitter and is ideal for entryways, medicine cabinets, refrigerators, or areas where extra monitoring is needed for safety, children, or individuals with dementia.
The Telephone Transmitter sends a wireless signal to the Alarm Clock Receiver when the Magnetic Switch is activated. It also includes additional input ports for connecting optional accessories like contact mats or compatible NOAA weather alert devices that use 3.5 mm or 2.5 mm trigger cables.
